Thanksgiving Part 2

For our family of three this is a lot of food. We were thankful for our health and happiness. Also, for having our daughter, Angela, home on the actual day. She is a pharmacy tech at a hospital and she usually works all the holidays so other employees with children could be home. This was a treat!

I was off for six days and got three tops finished. I was happy. The two below a flannel baby quilts. A friend of mine gave me all her flannel; with lots of blocks already cut. The green one is going to my daughter's friend and the other to the guild charity quilts. I experimented with a different way to do the sashing. It looks pretty good.

This is an Atkinson design for Friendship Crossing. It is set on the diagonal and I put it together with no problems. This was the first time for me.

So, off I go to quilt some more. Pugs and kisses.

Thanksgiving Part 1

It is time to put away my fall quilts and take out the Christmas ones. I have been busy quilting and not thinking about my pictures for my blog. That means I don't post at all.
The glow on this quilt is really pretty. I don't know how I did it, but I'm glad I did. Time to work and get ready for Part 2. Pugs and kisses.
